17 · Australia · IT Director at Apex MCC · runs LavaDev
Hey. I'm Jayesh. I was born on July 15, 2009 and I live in Australia. I've been into computers for as long as I can remember and I'm trying to turn that into a career.
Right now I'm the IT Director at Apex MCC. It's a non-profit that's setting up a community space in Michigan — somewhere people can go to get help, find resources, and just feel welcome. I handle the tech stuff: website, strategy, whatever needs doing.
I also started LavaDev, which is basically my own little dev shop. I build websites, mess around with code, and try to figure out how the business side works.
When I'm not doing that I'm probably reading about some new framework or arguing with CSS.
Running the tech side for a non-profit that's building a community space. I plan what tools we need, manage the website, and figure out the digital infrastructure. It's early days but it's meaningful work.
My own thing. I build websites and software for people, experiment with new tech, and learn how to actually run a business. Still very much in the "learning by doing" phase.
My dev studio. I take on web projects, build tools, and explore new tech. It's small but it's mine.
